Badulla

Badulla is the southeast border of central hills in the upcountry which is the transport portal to the east coast. One of the oldest towns of Sri Lanka invaded by Portuguese and British consequently became one of their main economic hubs. Usually, Badulla has a slightly lesser temperature compared to the other cities in Sri Lanka. The average temperature typically varies between 16°C to 30°C (61°F to 86°F), rarely it become below 13°C (56°F) and above 33°C (92°F).

Usually, April is the hottest month of the year while November to January becomes the coldest. It has extremely variated accumulations in rainfall throughout the year. The highest rainfall records around November while the least is around July.
